- Im having some trouble installing NetBSD 1.1 on my amiga 4000. Ive
- gone through all the steps to prepare my HD. It is in my second IDE
- drive. I have my first Amiga partition, followed by a 32mb Root
- partition, I called BSD_Root. After that is the swap partition titled
- BSD_Swap this is about 36 mb. Next is an "other partition" entitled
- BSD_Usr -- 130mb and finally 130mb of BSD_Local.
- Next I xstreamtodev'ed install-11.fs to my swap partition. then I
- typed loadbsd -b -A netbsd
- This didn't seem to cause any errors, it detected both the HD's
- properly, and then asked for the boot device, i typed sd1* (according
- to the install instructions) and the machine rebooted, back into
- amigados. What happened here?? My machine in a basic 4000/040 18 mb
- ram and nothing I can think of that would conflict. It is a stock
- machine.
-
- Any Ideas???
